Your network subscription has expired, please reenter your password to renew it?
So i was playing thunderhead keep and we all died so i rezoned myself in thunderhead keep, however while the map was loading i got this msg from guild wars identically to the one when you log in saying something like this:
Your network subscription has expired, please reenter your password to renew it. I of course clicked cancel because i didnt know what the hell was that, but it did kick me out, then i had to log in normally again. Has anyone had this problem before, or knows what it is?, ive been playing for about 4 months now, and this is the first time i see this. Any help will be grealty apreciated. Thank you. |

I've never seen a message like that and I've been playing (with a retail CD key) since April. That sounds decidedly...suspicious. You haven't installed any GW-related helper applications or anything, have you?

both me and my boyfriend have had that message. We got it a long time ago though (perhaps in the last beta event, maybe in the first week of playing). No, we hadn't downloaded anything. At first we thought it might be like their "idle" measure: ie if someone doesn't reply to it, they get kicked off to conserve server bandwidth. However, I've never seen it since.

That happened to me once. I was leveling a pet in Lornar's Pass, taking my sweet time. I was probably in the same instance for 2+ hours, and when I finally decided to zone that message popped up.
I don't know if time is the specific reason for it...I've had trips to UW or FoW that lasted much longer than this one did. It does seem like a plausible theory, though. |

I've seen it before as well, but not for quite a while. No add-on apps here either.

I got it as well just type your password and you'll be fine. I think this is used to counter bots.

I have been known to get this error message, but most often it will happen with the friends list. I guess it's because my connection LOVES to mess up

I get this message all the time. Mostly on my friends list. I do disappear from the Guild Roster too. It's kind of odd.
I just fire in my password and continue on. |

I've had it aswell, I entered my password, and it sometimes boots me and sometimes let me continue.
I don't know what it's for though. Ash. |

It's just something at the server end which has timed out, seen it happen rarely. It means your friends list and so on doesn't work, log back in and all is fine again.

I've had it happen a few times too, the only thing that annoys me is that it disjoined me from my party every time it's happened. I have read that it is an anti-bot measure, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's also related to when the GW server or my connection is laggy.
I wish ANet had a help index in the game with translations for what their error messages mean |
